Replaces photoresistor and light bulb of carriage position sensor in AC-platter motor Beogram 4002s (Type 550x).
Uses a modern monolithic IR photo-interrupter based circuit for generating a clean digital signal for triggering 1TR17.
Fixes carriage position sensor issues, such as not working auto-return after playing a record or broken/cracked sensor plastic housing.
Built-in test feature for verifying proper detection of plexiglass 'ruler' markings.

Installation requires moderate soldering capabilities: Carriage position sensor photoresistor and light bulb need to be unsoldered, and Beolover component needs to be soldered to existing solder pads. Use of a desolder gun is recommended.
